Stood next to the Beauty Lake, Ming-Dao Library has an elegant outside appearance and the scholarly-tasteful inside facilities exhaling full humanities atmosphere and the aesthetic perception of the space. MingDao Library lets teachers and students wander about unhurriedly in it to enjoy the leisurely reading and relaxing learning.

Established in 2001, Ming Dao Library was originally part of the Center for Information Technology, comprising the Order Division and the Circulation Division. Starting from August 1st, 2007 it was upgraded to be a first level unit within the administrative hierarchy of the University, and currently consists of three Divisions: Services Division, Administrative Division, and Digital Media Division. As a university library, we aim to provide our readers with diversified, specialized, and computerized services that are designed to be people friendly. We also adhere to and support the five main pillars of learning, as advocated by UNESCO¡¦s International Commission on Education in 1996 and revised in 2003:

¡E learning to know
¡E learning to do
¡E learning to be
¡E learning to live together
¡E learning to change

In the future, we will continually endeavor to offer all staff and students an exquisite reading and learning environment, in the hope of meeting their teaching and research needs as well as increasing service quality.
